Amazing Antique Mark Cross Made In England Leather Rugby Ball. This splendid rugby ball is circa late 1940s. It was made by the famous Mark Cross Company of England whom is known worldwide for their luxury purses and handbags. The Mark Cross Company made leather rugby balls for a short time in the 1940s. This ball is in near mint condition and museum quality. Please note that these old balls do not hold air and the leather is prone to drying and distorting which can be seen in these photos. This identical ball in similar condition is housed in the Walsall Leather Museum in England. Professionally packaged and shipped with protection.
