A wonderful example of an antique Billy club flask. This great antique nightstick is circa 1880s -1890s. There is a split in the top cap due to age and the wood drying over time. This is typical of all clubs of this type and occurs as a result of age and the nature of the thin threaded wood cap. The glass beaker flask is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. Wood is maple and shows a wonderful age and patina. The cork stopper is still intact and has not been removed in decades. To do so may risk damage to the cork and possibly the glass beaker. Dimensions are 21 inches long and 4.75 inches in diameter. Weight is 9.5 ounces.  Such a rare and wonderful piece of law enforcement history.
