Original 1980 Wisconsin State Fair Poster DAYS OF SWINE AND ROSES Fair Poster Promotional Poster 36.5″ X 24.5″. A wonderfully rare and historic piece of fair memorabilia. In 1980, fairgoers were asked to submit agricultural puns and imagery for use in future promotional materials. These promotional materials would later receive much national attention. Popular promotional campaigns included Check Out The Chicks, Check Out Our Dairy Heirs, Still Crazy After All These Ears, and Days of Swine & Roses. “Days of Swine & Roses” was made into a promotional poster. Very few of these posters were ever released. Today, they are considered a highly desirable piece of Wisconsin Fair history. A true gem.
